Refund Policy
Last updated: 6 September 2026
The Courier Driver VAT Registration Guide is digital content, delivered instantly to your account the moment payment completes. This affects your cancellation rights in a specific way, explained below.
The 14-day cancellation right, and why it doesn't apply here
UK consumer law normally gives you 14 days to cancel an online purchase for a full refund. For digital content, that right ends as soon as you start accessing the content — provided we've asked you to expressly agree to immediate access and confirm you understand you're giving up the cancellation right. That's exactly what you confirm on Stripe's secure payment page before you pay.
When we will refund you
We'll happily refund or fix things if:
- You paid but never actually received access (a technical fault on our end) — contact us and we'll fix the account or refund you, whichever you'd prefer;
- You were charged twice for the same order by mistake;
- The content is faulty or clearly not as described — for example pages missing or the guide not covering courier/delivery driver VAT registration at all.
If you contact us before you've logged in and viewed the guide, we'll also consider requests on a case-by-case basis — we'd rather sort out a genuine problem than rely on the small print.
How to request a refund
Email hello@couriertax.co.uk with the email address you purchased under and a short description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 working days.
What happens to your account if you're refunded
If a refund is issued, access to your account is suspended — you won't be able to log in to view the guide afterward. Your account isn't deleted, so if this happens in error (for example, a duplicate refund or a chargeback that's later reversed) contact us and we can restore access without you needing to buy it again. If you'd like access again after a genuine refund, you're welcome to purchase the guide again.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — for example, if the digital content itself is faulty (not fit for purpose, or not matching its description), you may still be entitled to a repair or a price reduction regardless of the 14-day cancellation position above.
